South Harbour Café, A Pearl In 2450

South Harbour 01Congratulations to South Harbour’s Café for putting 2450 on Copenhagen’s culinary map. Since receiving Politiken’s iByen award for Copenhagen’s best café in 2018, Jamila Mohammedi’s smile hasn’t stopped beaming. Jamila’s Moroccan dishes, especially her legendary humus, has been attracting visitors from far and wide since opening in February 2017. The cafè’s interiors, all hand-made by Jamila’s husband, using re-cycled materials, are both warm and inviting.

Bringing 2450 together.
South Harbour Café has indirectly brought attention to one of Copenhagen’s neighborhoods that is experiencing a positive transition to a popular destination for the capital’s local residents and tourists. Even its once infamous postal code, is rapidly evolving into a hip-brand. Hopefully, it is projects like South Harbour Café that will help bring this diverse community in 2450sv together. Politiken’s iByen’s award to Jamila and her serviced minded crew is so richly deserved.
